Banded waterfowl gear is made incredibly well, but I would be lying if I told you I wasn't partial to one particular item from Banded Brands.
The Arc Welded Backpack
Last year was my first year to hunt with this titan of a gear bag, and after one hunt, I left the levee wondering where it had been all of my life.
Here's what I love about it.
Duck Killers Consulted. For starters, Banded waterfowl gear is designed by real duck killers. The people that design these things wade through the same mud you do. So, they know what it takes to make gear that is functional and versatile.
Waterproof & Weightless. Perhaps the greatest asset it a split decision for me between the waterproof material with welded seams, or perhaps the light weight. I can't decide which I like more. I'd have to say that it comes down to the fact that it doesn't leak, but I'm telling you, the sheer gravity defying load this thing bears is going to stun you my brother.
Roll Top Design. It has one big mouth. You stuff in your stuff, roll down the top, buckle it, and you're off and wading.
Backpack Straps. Personally, I hate shoulder straps. They just are not functional if you ask me, and backpack straps are much more secure. If you're hunting a pit or a levee, just sit the bag on the ground. If you're hunting timber, it has a loop to hang from a tree hook. Either way, you're good to go.
We've all had blind bags, but I can promise you my waterfowl warrior brother, you've never had this bag.
This is my buddy Todd. And, no, this is not a stock image. Can you imagine someone looking like this being a waterfowl model? Sorry, Todd. Couldn't resist, but there's a reason we covered your face.
Todd recently asked me about this bag and I told him, "Todd, please bro, trust me and just get it. You'll never regret it."
He said, "Yeah, but I've got a blind bag." My response was, "Well, you don't have this one, and when you get it, you're going to thank me."
If you want to see the Arc Welded Backpack from Banded click the picture of the bag itself and it will take you straight there.
